Global warming refers to the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation.

The average global temperature of 2005 is almost equal taht of the year 1998, the warmest year of last 11 years. Our planet is changing by the warming winds and the rising seas.
